About Oisín GAA
Established in 1904, Oisín CLG is one of the oldest Gaelic football clubs in Britain.
Based at Old Bedians Sports Centre in Didsbury, in the heart of South Manchester, we field men’s, ladies’ and youth Gaelic football teams and welcome players of all backgrounds, experience and ability. Our U6-U18 pathway has been producing players for our senior teams for over 50 years.
On the pitch, our men’s team has a proud record of success with 16 Lancashire Senior Football Championship titles, including four in a row from 2017-2020. Our ladies have also made their mark, winning numerous Lancashire titles alongside All-Britain success in 2019.
Off the pitch, the club has a special place in local pop culture as Noel and Liam Gallagher (Oasis) both played underage with the club.
New members are always welcome at Oisín’s. If you’ve just settled in the area, want to try Gaelic football for the first time, or you’re returning after time away, we’ll help you settle in quickly. If you’d like to play, volunteer, or support the club, please get in touch: we’d love to hear from you.
